Position Details:
Dental Assistant Full Time or Part Time:
Mon-Thurs 8-5 Assist a solo dentist practicing general dentistry and help with sterilization Competitive wage and benefits package Essential Job Duties:
Assist with clinical treatment of patients Interact with patients to make a comforting environment Discuss procedures and treatment with patients Perform a rubber cup prophy on children - Preferred Deliver appliances with minor adjustments - Preferred Perform expanded function tasks such as fabricating provisional crowns - Preferred Take quality full mouth series of x-rays and BWX Perform dental charting within Dentrix software Provide home-care and post-operative instructions to patients Setup/Clean operatories Sterilize instruments Minor lab work with impressions Help with patient phone calls and scheduling as needed Maintain HIPAA and Safety compliance Education/
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Valid State of Oregon EFDA certificate -Preferred Valid Radiology Certificate Dentrix/Dexis or other dental software experience Preferred Prior chairside experience Preferred Necessary Skills and Behaviors:
Must be professional, punctual, dependable, and a team player Ability to professionally communicate with patients and deliver treatment information Able to adapt to different situations and learn new skills Maintain a professional appearance Job Types:
