The Manager of Health Information Management will work in a 100 plus bed hospital that is working to become the organization of choice for experience and culturally diverse employees.

The Manager of Health Information Management and Medical Records will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Health Information Management Department including Health Information Coding, Medical Transcription and Tumor Registry Departments.
The HIM Medical Records Manager will coordinate and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, hospital and departmental policies and procedures for each of the respective departments.
The Manager of Medical Records HIM will also develop and implement facility-wide policies and procedures, conducting investigations, and identifying and resolving operational issues.
The Manager of HIM Medical Records will perform as the Hospital's HIPAA Privacy and Compliance Officer.
The Medical Records HIM Manager will be assessing and identifying learning needs as well as providing education and training designed to support a learning organization.
The Manager of Health Information Management HIM and Medical Records will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
