The Clackamas County Public Health Division (CCPHD) is seeking a Mobile Services Coordinator (Human Services Coordinator 2) to oversee a new mobile outreach program aimed at reducing health disparities in Clackamas County by providing preventive health services that are not being fully met through other health systems. The position will work across Public Health programs and with community partners to offer public health services where vulnerable populations live or workServices may include vaccinations, WIC, health screenings, health promotion, and/or navigation. CCPHD's mission is to protect and promote the community's health by advancing racial health equity, building partnerships, and establishing culturally responsive systems. This position reports to the Deputy Public Health Director and is responsible for planning and coordinating mobile outreach servicesPrimary duties include planning, organizing, and coordinating transportation logistics to ensure efficient use of the Public Health Mobile Services Vehicle.
Qualifications:
The incumbent must have excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure compliance with transportation laws and to manage inventory, logistics, and performance metrics. A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience coordinating health-related projects for community-based organizations, non-profits, healthcare providers, health departments, or governmental agencies with an emphasis on outreach to underserved communities. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in each of the following:
Organizing and executing outreach programs with a focus on health promotion. Using principles of continuous quality improvement and data analysis to inform program budgeting, design, and implementation. Experience ensuring compliance with transportation laws and state, local, and county regulations. Experience driving a van-type vehicle. Experience developing, implementing, and updating program-related documents; such as training materials and standard operating procedures. Strong interpersonal skills that translate into the following:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work well independently, as well as having a collaborative, team-oriented approach to work. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships both internally and externally. Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug testLearn more about the County's drug testing policy. Must pass a criminal history check which may include a national or state fingerprint records check. Must possess a valid Class C driver's license. Driving is required for County business on a regular basis or to accomplish workIncumbents must possess a valid driver's license and possess and maintain an acceptable driving record throughout the course of employmentLearn more about the County's driving policy. The work schedule for the position is 40 hours per week and will vary depending on the services being offeredThe schedule may include evenings and weekendsThe position is hybrid, with up to two days per week remote.
